Grafton was hit by hurricane Irene and many roads are affected as a result. However, the inn and Hunter Gallery, along with most other businesses in town are fully operational!

The best way to enter Grafton at present is via the Grafton Road in Chester, Vermont or via Route 30 through Townshend to Route 35. Route 121 is closed.

The 5th annual Exhibition at Grafton, a select juried fine art show of more than 50 original works by professional artists from the East Coast, is being held in Grafton, Vermont from August 26 through September 7.

The event is open to the public free of charge, and features a selection of top artists’ work in oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media and sculptures in various medium.

The sponsors of the Exhibition at Grafton are Hunter Gallery of Fine Art and The Old Tavern at Grafton inn.

The show is being exhibited at Phelps Barn at the Old Tavern inn and Hunter Gallery of Fine Art. Both are located on Main Street and are next door to one another. Open from 9:30 am - 6 pm daily. All artwork on display is for sale.
